Mum's Yoga Morning
A welcoming yoga class for new mums ready to gently return to movement while keeping their baby close. A relaxed, supportive environment designed for mothers and babies to enjoy together. ✨
The class will have a relaxed pace, including beginner-friendly poses – it’s completely fine to dip in and out of the practice as and when you need to.
The yoga class itself will finish at around 11:30pm with time afterwards to have a free hot drink and a snack, chat with other mums and get all packed up in your own time.
Upcoming dates: 30th August and 27th September (from 10:30am-12pm)
@St. Mary's Church House Hall, Bridport, Dorset, DT6 3NN

Who is this class suitable for?
-
Mothers who have been cleared by a healthcare professional to return to gentle exercise.
-
Babies are welcome from around 6 weeks old (after postnatal checks) up to crawling/early walking stage, (once babies are mobile, it can be tricky to keep the space safe for everyone).
The space
-
Please keep prams/buggies folded away from the yoga area to keep the practise space as clear as possible. There will be matting on the floor in the centre of the practice space, but please bring your own blanket for your baby to lie on if you wish.
-
Please use the baby changing facilities in the toilet on site when changes are needed.
Safety & consideration
-
Please be mindful of other babies and parents – with no toys with sharp edges, loud sounds, or choking hazards brought into the shared space.
-
If your baby is unwell, has a temperature, or a contagious illness (e.g. chickenpox, colds, tummy bug), please wait until they’re well to attend a class.
